Office and Web Policies

Direct Billing

Many insurance companies provide coverage for treatment. Due to the Health Profession’s Personal Privacy Act we are unable to access any specific information from your extended health insurance company regarding your coverage. Your policy is between you, the subscriber, and your insurer. It is your responsibility to know the parameters of your coverage, such as annual maximums, frequencies, renewal dates, and any other limitations.

In some cases, we can extend you the option of direct billing (also called assignment) for your convenience. However, a valid credit card must be on file and your insurance company must accept this service. The insurers that we can direct bill to are as follows: Blue Cross, Cowan, Desjardins Insurance, First Canadian, Great-West Life, Green Shield, Industrial Alliance, Johnson Inc., Johnston Group Inc., Manulife Financial, Maximum Benefit, SSQ Financial Group, and Sunlife Financial.

Motor Vehicle Accident Care

Whiplash injury, sprains and strains from a motor vehicle accident can result in pain, soft tissue damage and spinal dysfunction. If left untreated, early joint degeneration can occur. We offer a wide range of therapies, all conveniently provided by our therapists in one of our two locations (Oakville and Milton).

Provide us with the particulars of your auto insurer and as a registered preferred provider, we are able to bill them directly for your treatment. Therapy covered by your insurer include chiropractic, therapeutic laser, active release technique, Graston therapy, and therapeutic massage.

Missed Appointments

We value your time, and we ask that you value ours. Your appointment is a designated time that the doctor has reserved for you. Due to a continuous high demand for appointment during prime times, we require a minimum of 12 hours notice per appointment should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. If insufficient notice is given, a missed appointment fee may be charged to you, or we may require you to prepay to reserve future appointments.

Although our on-line scheduling will send you an e-mail confirmation the day prior to your appointment, it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure that you attend your appointment on-time, unless other arrangements have been made in advance with our office.
